BluffJack

This is a submission for the UM Game Jam 2026 as team Ape Sheet.

Bluffjack is a parodical take on the traditional game, BlackJack. The game follows the same rules as blackjack, where the goal of the game is to reach 21! The game is split into 3 phases, which are the DRAW phase, the BLUFF phase and the SHOWDOWN phase.

However, there are some changes... 

The game is about losing control of a game that you're familiar playing. As you progress deeper into the game, the enemy has power ups that can disrupt your plans when drawing, abruptly making the player lose control of their plans in the game. As each match goes on, you also realize that you don't really have a control over whether you will walk out alive. Each win and loss brings both players closer to losing their control (in game).
